Oconee County Sheriff’s investigators are attempting to identify two men in a new model Jeep Cherokee that are apparently proficient at breaking into Ford pickups.
Two pickups were entered by the suspects Saturday behind the Cheddar’s restaurant at the Oconee Connector, according to sheriff’s reports.
“It looks like they’re targeting these style trucks. Mine was a F-250,” said Chad Lawson of Royston, who said the thieves stole his .45-caliber pistol and a wallet.
