Thieves entered a business off Jefferson Road during the weekend and stole more than $28,000 in vehicles and landscaping equipment.
“They got some expensive stuff — zero turn mowers and all the accessories,” Anthony Lonon, owner of LO Automotive on Floyd Drive, said Monday.
The theft of the two trucks, valued at $16,000, and the landscaping equipment occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday, according to an Athens-Clarke County police report.
