Athens Academy’s Drew Richardson and Oconee County’s Tyler Davis competed in the Clash of the Scholar Athletes all-star game in Boynton Beach, Fla. Saturday.
Richardson and Davis played for Team Georgia, which fell 28-10 to Team Florida after allowing 21 points in the final seven minutes. Richardson was named the Team Georgia offensive MVP.
Richardson helped Athens Academy to a 9-2 season and Class A Private playoff appearance. Davis contributed to Oconee County's 9-3 season. The Warriors won the Region 8-3A title and reached the second round of the Class 3A state playoffs.
