University of Georgia police say a student who went missing Monday was found dead near College Station Road.
Police said in an alert emailed to the university faculty and students sent Tuesday evening at about 6 p.m. that Lei Wang, 35, was found deceased at about 4 p.m.
His body was found off College Station Road near the river, police said in the email.
Police said there was no indication of foul play related to his death, according to the email.
Wang was an international student and was last seen Monday afternoon at the Veterinary School on Brooks Drive.
Police said Wang did not have access to a car and probably would have been traveling on foot.
