The suspect in an April 25 bank robbery in Jackson County agreed to waive extradition back to Georgia, according to jail records with the Harrison County, Miss., Sheriff’s Office.
Soua Lee, 36, of Hoschton was arrested last Wednesday inside a casino in Biloxi, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Lee is charged with robbing the Hamilton State Bank in Braselton. Investigators said he fled Georgia and traveled to Asheville, N.C., where he boarded a Greyhound Bus and traveled to Biloxi. Lee was identified as the robber soon after a bank surveillance photograph was released to the public, sheriff’s deputies said.
Sheriff Janis Mangum said Lee will be brought back to Georgia this week.
