Prince Avenue Christian and Jefferson held on to their spots in their respective football polls, which were released by the Georgia Sports Writers Association on Tuesday.
Jefferson (4-0) stayed at No. 3 in the Class AAA after topping Commerce 34-10 on Friday. Commerce, which dropped out of the Class A poll this week, was ranked seventh entering the game. Jefferson has a bye before it opens Region 8-AAA play on Sept. 25.
Prince Avenue (3-0, 1-0 in Region 8-A) also held on to the third spot in the Class A poll following a 45-6 rout of George Walton Friday. The Wolverines will play at Athens Christian Friday.
Commerce is still receiving votes in the Class A poll, but the Tigers are unranked heading into a game at Athens Academy this week.
